India’s 69th Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervor at BVM (USN) School. Celebrations began with Deep Prajwalan, Deep Mantra and Saraswati Vandana seeking Almighty’s blessings for the prosperity & betterment of humanity. The whole campus was adorned with tricolor. Esteemed members of BVM Trust, Sh. O.P.Sabharwal ji (President), Sh. M.M.Vyas ji (Secretary), Sh. R.K.Behal ji (Joint Secretary), Sh. M.M.Bamba ji (Treasurer), Sh. K.C. Maini ji (Member), Principal Mrs.Bandana Sethi and Vice Principal Mrs. Navita Seth and all the coordinators unfurled the national flag with great reverence. It was followed by oath ceremony in which the school fraternity pledged to serve the nation unconditionally. Anmol Sharma a student of XII Science enlightened one and all with the importance of the fundamental duties.
Mrs. Navita Seth (Vice Principal) spoke eloquently apprising everyone with the constitutional fundamental rights. Extending his valuable greetings on this occasion Sh M.M Vyas ji emphasized to self analyze and introspect the nation’s achievements during its journey as a developing country since 26th Jan, 1950. He laid stress on the responsibilities of the students in the upcoming years saying that they should think of their duties towards the nation first than their rights. Arousing everybody’s patriotic feelings, the school choir presented a mesmerizing patriotic song “Manavata Ke Man Mandir Mein…” enthralling the audience. All assembled, bowed to the strains of the national song ‘Vande Matram’, paying a perfect tribute to the motherland.
